Its an awful thought to imagine life without water and electricity 24/7. Ive only just been able to get my electricity back after a power cut and I must say it was close to being the worst few hrs in recent years. It was almost as if my arms had been cut off leaving me redundant. I was unable to dial up to the BB, watch television, listen to Cds, make a cup of hot chocolate, put a burger in the oven or put the central heating on. It makes me begin to understand how lucky I am to be living in a country that allows me access to all these things. I find it difficult to think of what it must be like for people who dont have these luxuries. I know that they have other things that they can do such as cook on an coal fire. Another thing that I would be most overjoyed to be able to do is simply to be able to created my own energy and not rely on energy suppliers. The problem is that where I live I dont think this is possible. I have looked into it already.
